Stenwith Locks

The Stenwith Locks are part of the Woolsthorpe flight of seven.  The top three have already been restored. The remaining locks are currently subject to a Heritage Lottery Fund Application – see the home page for more detail.

NB. This work is now underway (December 2015)

November 2018: The restoration/rebuild of Lock 15 is now complete and volunteers have moved onto Lock 14 – another major rebuild

October 2020: Lock 14 is almost complete.  We’re currently preparing the ‘Expression of Interest’ to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, regarding funding for the restoration of Lock 13.
